Scanned statements
- Scanned and photographed statements now convert. The pages are read with OCR inside your browser, so they are still not uploaded. Mixed PDFs (some pages digital, some scanned) work too.
- Progress for each page, a confidence score, and highlighted cells where the OCR was unsure. The balance check runs as usual.
- Optional: if a scanned page still fails, you can let Google's Gemini AI read just that page. We ask every time and show exactly what is sent. Free for you, within a monthly budget.
- Statements with Hindi text can be read again with Hindi switched on.

Client ledgers, Suspense clearing and accuracy checks
- Client profiles: load each client's ledger list from TallyPrime (XML List of Accounts or Masters, Excel or CSV). Rows can then only use that client's real ledgers, and the ledger masters file creates only ledgers that are genuinely new. Tested by importing into TallyPrime 7.2.
- Ledger suggestions from UPI, NEFT, IMPS and cheque names, bank charges, interest, GST, TDS, salary, EMI and your saved rules. KhataSheet remembers which ledger you chose for each payee.
- Clear Suspense faster: show only unassigned rows, accept all confident suggestions, select or filter rows and set a ledger (and save it as a rule) in one go, and move through rows with Enter.
- Export and import a client profile file to move a client's ledgers, rules and remembered choices to another computer or to staff.
- Accuracy checks: cash over ₹10,000 in a day (Sec 40A(3) / Sec 36(4) of the Income-tax Act 2025), cash deposits of ₹2 lakh or more (Sec 269ST / Sec 186), cash deposits that banks report (SFT), possible duplicates, round sums and cheques on bank holidays. They are prompts to review, never changes to your data, and they are listed in a new Checks sheet in the Excel file.
- Batch conversion finds transfers between the client's own bank accounts and posts each one once, as a Contra between the two bank ledgers.

Unlimited during launch
- No page or statement limits during the launch period: convert as much as your work needs, still free and without sign-up.
- The pricing page now describes the planned paid plans without numbers. Pricing will be announced before the launch ends, with advance notice to everyone using KhataSheet.

Batch conversion, column mapping, more export formats
- Convert many statements at once and download them as one ZIP, with Tally vouchers for each file, a combined sheet and CSV, and one ledger masters file.
- Map columns yourself when a layout is not recognised; the balance check still runs.
- Undo (Ctrl+Z) and delete rows before exporting.
- New exports: Zoho Books CSV, QuickBooks Online CSV, and a single signed Amount column option.
- Export and import your ledger rules to move them to another computer or share them with staff.
- Pages for all 21 supported bank formats, a security page, FAQ, pricing, refund, delivery and grievance pages, and a status page.
- Install KhataSheet as an app and use it offline.
- Contact form with attachments, and an optional "Send us this statement" button (with your consent, deleted after 30 days) when a conversion fails.

Anonymous error diagnostics
- Crashes and failed reads are reported anonymously (no file contents) so we can fix them quickly.
